Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern participation in the TaskShot private beta programme and the use of related services provided by BuildWise Technologies Kft. (“TaskShot”, “we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms are provided as a template and should be reviewed by your legal counsel prior to publication.

1. Service description

• TaskShot is a SaaS platform designed for field operations, media capture, and task documentation.
• The current release is a private beta. Functionality may change, be limited, or become unavailable without prior notice.
• Access is granted at our discretion and may be revoked for any reason.

2. Eligibility

• Only approved pilot organisations and invited users may use the service.
• You warrant that the information provided (organisation details, contact persons, etc.) is accurate and complete.
• You must ensure that all users comply with these Terms and applicable laws (e.g. data protection, export controls).

3. Accounts & access

• You are responsible for safeguarding login credentials and restricting access to authorised personnel.
• You must notify TaskShot immediately if you suspect unauthorised access or any security incident involving your account.
• During the beta, TaskShot may monitor usage to ensure platform stability and gather product feedback.

4. Fees & billing

• Pre-orders and subscription charges are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd., our merchant of record. Their terms and policies apply to all payments.
• Any promotional or beta pricing is subject to change prior to general availability.

4.1. Refund policy

One-time purchases: You may request a refund for any reason within 14 days of your purchase date.

Subscriptions: You may request a refund within 14 days of your initial subscription purchase or within 14 days of any subscription renewal date. Cancellation of your subscription will stop future charges but does not entitle you to a refund for any fees already paid for the current billing period beyond the 14-day refund window.

5. Beta disclaimer

• The service is provided “as is” during the beta. We make no warranties regarding availability, accuracy, or suitability for a particular purpose.
• You acknowledge that downtime, data loss, or functional changes may occur. Critical operations should maintain independent backups.
• We may suspend or discontinue the service, or any part thereof, without liability.

6. Intellectual property

• All intellectual property rights in TaskShot remain with BuildWise Technologies Kft..
• You retain ownership of media, documentation, and other materials you upload. You grant us a limited licence to process that content solely to provide and improve the service.
• Feedback and suggestions may be used by TaskShot without obligation.

7. Data protection

Processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of TaskShot complies with applicable data protection laws and for obtaining any necessary consents from data subjects.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload unlawful, defamatory, or infringing content;
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the platform;
• Attempt to reverse engineer or access source code;
• Introduce malware or other harmful code;
• Use the service to develop a competing product.

9. Liability

• To the maximum extent permitted by law, TaskShot is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the beta service.
• Our total liability will not exceed the fees paid in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
• Nothing excludes liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or mandatory legal obligations.

10. Termination

• Either party may terminate pilot access at any time by written notice.
• Upon termination, you must cease using the service and delete downloaded content unless required for legal compliance.
• Sections relating to intellectual property, confidentiality, and liability survive termination.

11. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary without regard to conflict of law rules. The competent courts of Budapest shall have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
