Announcements

What it is

An announcement is a message the office sends on purpose: a broadcast, or a poll. It is not the automatic notification for a task or an upload.

Where to find it

Web: Announcements. Admins. The recipient sees it in the Task Desktop app.

How it works

Write a title and a message. Choose the audience: everyone, a group, or selected users. A broadcast asks the person to acknowledge it. A poll asks a question: yes or no, one choice, or free text.

The delivery log shows who saw it and what they answered. Someone without the desktop app is marked as not reachable on that channel.

Good to know

Announcements use Task Desktop. Turn that app on under Billing if the team should receive them. See Task Desktop.
