Tasks
Private work for the creator and the people it is assigned to, with a due date and optional proof.
What it is
A task is a to-do. A case can be opened by the organization. A task is visible to the person who created it and the people or group it is assigned to.
Where to find it
Web: Tasks. A task can also be created from a case, including as the first task when the case is created.
How it works
Set a title and a description that says what done looks like. Assign one person when ownership should be obvious, or a group when anyone in that group can take it. Due dates have shortcuts such as one hour, one day, or one week.
A task can stay on its own, attach to an existing case, or start a new case. Require an attachment when completion has to include a photo, video, or document.

The list can be filtered by person. The dashboard shows overdue tasks and the nearest deadlines.
Good to know
A completed task can be turned into a case when the result should stay in the long-term record. Use that when the proof matters after the to-do is finished.
