Case templates

A shooting checklist that tells the field which photos a job needs.

What it is

A case template is a list of shots, not a document. Each step is a short name, such as license plate or damage overview, with an optional hint and a minimum and maximum number of photos.

Where to find it

Web: Templates. Admins and owners create them. A template is attached to a case from the case. On mobile, if at least one template exists and checklist steps are enabled under Settings, then Camera, New case can open the picker before shooting.

How it works

Add the steps in the order the photos should be taken. Attach the template to the case. In the camera, the steps appear as the person shoots. Experienced people can turn the step hints off in the mobile app and shoot without the checklist.

The case can show how many required steps are done and which are still missing.

Good to know

Templates are on every plan. The owner turns them on or off under Billing. Cases that already use a template keep their progress if the template is later deleted.
