Run a demo and a trial
Finish one real job on the call. Turn more features on only when the buyer asks.
What it is
A demo that finishes one job. Not a tour of every screen.
How it works
Agree the workflow in one sentence: vehicle intake, a site issue, an inspection visit, a damage file. Use a real name, such as a plate, a ticket, or a site. Use your partner signup link if they will start a trial, so the workspace is attributed to you.
- Create a folder named for that kind of work.
- Create one case with the real job name and a one-line description.
- Show a photo landing on that case from the phone.
- Create a task assigned to a person, with a due date, and require a photo to complete it.
- Open a share link and show that the outside person sees the media without an account.
- Stop.
If they already have a team, show an invite and the difference between a user and an admin. Leave Billing closed on a first demo. The owner is the only one who opens it.
Good to know
A trial is for one workflow and a small group. The same features are on every plan. Turning one on during the trial does not add a fee, and it stays available after they subscribe. Do not promise on-premise storage or a custom integration as part of self-serve signup. Those are scoped separately.
Log the lead in the partner dashboard with the next follow-up date. Quote from the dashboard calculator with the discount you actually intend to give.
