For sales partners
Commission, the dashboard, and which help pages to send a buyer.
What it is
A sales partner introduces TaskShot to companies. TaskShot runs the subscription, the product, and support. Commission is on money that is actually collected, after any discount.
The public terms are on the partner program page. This page is the short version for someone already explaining the product.
How it works
In a calendar month, the first 3 new paying customers earn 50%, the next 3 earn 60%, the next 4 earn 70%, and from the 11th the rate is 80%. That rate locks on the customer's first payment and stays for 12 months. Every new month starts again at 50% for new customers. Earlier customers do not move up.
Plan fees, extra seats, and storage count. A yearly plan pays the year's commission up front on the discounted yearly fee. If your customer later refers another company that subscribes, you earn 20% of what that company pays, also for 12 months.
After 12 months, commission stops even if the customer keeps paying. Cancellation stops further commission. A refund or chargeback reduces commission on that payment by the same share. Self-referrals, and companies on your own email domain, do not earn commission.
On the 1st of each month you receive last month's statement by email. The same lines are in the partner dashboard. You invoice TaskShot from that statement. Payment is within 3 banking business days of receiving the invoice, in the currency the customer paid.
The dashboard
After approval you get a partner code, a signup link, and a QR code. Signups through that link are assigned to you.
- Discount codes run from 5% to 40%, in 5% steps, for 12 months. Commission is on the discounted fee.
- The price calculator quotes a headcount with monthly and yearly prices, discount included.
- The lead list tracks status from new through won or lost, with notes and follow-ups.
Good to know
Send buyers the product pages, starting with How TaskShot fits together. Do not tell them a feature requires a higher plan. Every feature is on every plan, and the owner turns unused ones off under Billing. Plans is that boundary. Partner organizations inside the app are a different thing: a parent workspace linked to a child. See Partner organizations.
