Collector cases
One case that keeps taking files for a long time, up to 1,000 items.
What it is
A collector case is for long-term intake: checks, certificates, or a large set of field photos that belong in one record. A normal case stops at 200 media items. A collector case goes to 1,000.
Where to find it
Web: Collector Cases.
How it works
Create it with a clear title and a description of the naming rules, so later uploads stay consistent. Files can be filtered by filename and date. People can subscribe, and then they are notified when new files arrive. Several files can be selected for download or delete, depending on permission and whether the case is still open.
Admins can apply a filename template, with date, index, original name, and extension, before a batch is uploaded.
Good to know
Collector cases are on every plan. The owner turns them on or off under Billing. Use one when a single job needs heavy intake over months. Use a normal case when the job has a start and an end.
