How TaskShot fits together
A case holds the proof. A task tracks the work. The phone captures it, and the web app is where the office sets it up.
TaskShot keeps the evidence of a job in one place: photos, videos, notes, documents, and the follow-up that still has to happen.
What it is
An organization workspace. People in that workspace share cases. Tasks stay with the people they are assigned to.
Where to find it
Field capture is the mobile app. Setup, review, and administration are the web app. The web home is the Dashboard.
How it works
- Create a workspace and invite the people who will use it.
- Make a folder for the kind of work you do most.
- Open one case for a real job, with a name you will search for later.
- Take the photos in the mobile app so they land on that case.
- Add a task when someone still has to do something.
- Send a share link if someone outside the team needs to see the media. They do not need an account to view it.
Good to know
Start with one workflow. Features you do not use yet can stay off under Billing. Turning a feature off hides it. It does not change the plan price. The same features are on every plan. The plan decides how many people and how much storage are included. See Plans.
