Case data
Extra fields on a case, such as a work order number, a client, or a status.
What it is
Case data is the structured detail that does not fit in the title. A template defines the fields. A case stores the values.
Where to find it
Web: Case data templates. On a case, the fields show as Case details. A template can be the default on a folder, so new cases in that folder start with those fields.
How it works
Create a template with a name and at least one field. A field has a label and a type: text, long text, number, date, or dropdown. A field can be required, shown on the case list, and marked for OCR. Options for a dropdown are a comma-separated list.
From a folder, the filled values can be exported as CSV.
Good to know
This is separate from case templates. Case templates are the shooting checklist. Case data is the form of facts on the case.
